Boardwalk Dad Detox is a feature-length adult animated comedy set on the boardwalk, filled with slice-of-life humor, sarcasm, and heart. The film explores themes of fatherhood, addiction, recovery, and forgiveness, all told through the lens of family, faith, and shore-town chaos.
This project takes place in the I Married a Monster on a Hill universe and is being produced by the indie sister duo behind All Ages of Geek - creators, producers, and long-time supporters of indie animation, voice acting, and geek culture. We’re bringing together voice actors, artists, musicians, and storytellers to create a film that blends comedy with real-life struggles in a way that feels raw, funny, and meaningful.

Starring Luca Xavier as Wagner and Joey Sourlis as Jackie "Boardwalk Dad Detox" will cover very important topics, a more serious film outside of the typical comedic feel the series has so far presented.
Writing and animation are 0% because we’re handling all of that ourselves without pay. The script is finished, and our two-sister team is producing the rigs, animation, and compositing in-house. This keeps the budget lean so Kickstarter funds go entirely to costs like voice acting, art, music, marketing, and distribution.
