We’re glad to share the official poster reveal for Boardwalk Dad Detox, a feature-length adult animated comedy set to release in spring 2026.

What the film is about
Boardwalk Dad Detox takes place in the I Married a Monster on a Hill universe with a big group of voice actors, artists, musicians, and storytellers. It stars Luca Xavier as Wagner and Joey Sourlis as Jackie, with a huge cast supporting them.
This one leans heavier than the usual ride. It’s still has slice-of-life humor and sarcasm, but it’s also going straight at darker topics that a lot of media avoids with solutions in the end. It also digs into generational misunderstandings: different ideas of responsibility, different ways people show love, and the frustration of trying to help someone who keeps saying they’re fine.
The story hook is simple and painful: "A tale of forgiveness, family bonds, and owning up. Jackie’s drinking is tearing apart the family he built, and Wagner’s struggling to hold on. Can they fix the damage before it’s too late?"
