Prescott’s life took a sharp turn when his mother was killed by the dark association. The loss sent him into a downward spiral, where he wasted years working in a dead-end journalism job, surrounded by people he couldn’t trust. His mother’s kindness and strength inspired him to start fresh, and he now tries to live in a way that honors her memory.
