Thomas is a member of the senate, ex-military, and a psychiatrist who is married to John. He is a very serious and uptight man. Thomas is very opinionated and speaks up for what he believes in, however, his strong opinions often get him into fights with his friends and family. He is always at work and never has time for himself, when he is off he is constantly bombarded with friends asking for advice or John trying to get his attention. He takes joy in small things such as studying, feeding his pet fish, and eating strawberries.
Thomas, blind in one eye due to a work accident, keeps his emotions at a distance and rarely shows a smile or laugh due to his painful past. Thomas carries deep trauma and enduring pain from years spent fighting a corrupt system, both mentally and physically. His profound trust issues trace back to the heartbreaking loss of his parents and brother at the hands of his own grandfather. He idolizes his late older brother, whose cheerful personality contrasted sharply with Thomas's own jaded demeanor. Despite attempting to emulate his brother, Thomas often feels he falls short. He carries a deep sense of honor and protects those dear to him.

He gets embarrassed fast, often gets fidgety with romantic situations, and has a difficult time expressing his emotions. Despite his uptight demeanor, he loves his husband John and acknowledges the fact that he helps him feel more comfortable and expressive! He is often worried about John’s chaotic personality and tries his best to keep him safe away from trouble. Thomas just wants peace, respect, and simple times in his life. He strives for stability and order, which is why he has dedicated himself to his work as both a politician and a psychiatrist.
