Support our pre-launch Kickstarter campaign for Boardwalk Dad Detox, the next movie in the I Married a Monster on a Hill universe! After the success of Disaster Date Roulette, we’re excited to bring another indie film that expands this world. Boardwalk Dad Detox shines a spotlight on Jackie and Wagner, two reporters who have appeared in shorts and episodes, now leading their own story in this brand-new project.

What Is Boardwalk Dad Detox?
This feature-length adult animated comedy (2+ hours) is a grounded, slice-of-life story about forgiveness, family bonds, and owning up. Jackie’s drinking is tearing apart the family he built, and Wagner is left trying to hold everything together. The question is, can they fix the damage before it’s too late?
The film balances humor with heartfelt honesty, tackling subjects like addiction, burnout, recovery, and family loyalty. It’s a more serious take within the I Married a Monster on a Hill world, while still carrying the wit and sarcasm fans love.
Meet the Main Characters

We’re indie creators working hard to keep building opportunities for other creatives, voice actors, artists, and musicians. Every project we make is designed to give talent work, pay them fairly, and spotlight their skills.
We also want to tell realistic, often overlooked stories in media, the kinds of stories about family, recovery, and everyday chaos that rarely get the spotlight in animation.
